John Wilking is president and founder of NEVILLE.
John has over thirty-five years of professional real estate management experience handling commercial and residential property throughout New England. He has spent nearly all of those years directing and operating management and brokerage companies holding primary responsibility for growth, policies and profit.
John holds the highest professional designation in the real estate management field as a Certified Property Manager (CPM). This designation is awarded by the Institute of Real Estate Management, an arm of the National Association of Realtors, and held by only 7,500 individuals in the U.S. Further, John is the one of only two practicing Certified Property Managers in the State of Vermont.
John is a licensed Vermont and New Hampshire real estate broker and received the designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). John is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
John is also an active investor in commercial and investment properties. Over the past 10 years John has been principal in a number of private investment groups, purchasing office buildings and multi-family residential properties in Vermont and New Hampshire.
John is a 1981 honors graduate of St. Lawrence University and has an extensive background in architecture and construction. John is married, has two children and lives in South Burlington, Vermont.
John serves on the Board of Directors of Vermont Business Roundtable, is a founding member and Co-Chair of the South Burlington Business Association, serves on the Development Review Board for the City of South Burlington, has been involved for a dozen years as the Charter Representative with the Cub Scout Pack 678 and Boy Scout Troop 611, and is a past-President and active member of the Rotary Club of South Burlington.
